About the Trainers
Both our trainers are some of the most requested due to consistently excellent results
James H. Hellam
Jim
is director and facilitator of trainings at New Era. He
is certified as a Master Trainer in Basic, Breakthrough
in Leadership, The Art of Empowerment Workshops, Senior
LP trainer, and master guest speaker. In addition to his
work at New Era he is a partner with many worldwide transformational
organizations such as Master Trainer & President of
K and J Enterprises and Former President of the Institute
for Leadership & Potential Development Ltd. (“I-LEAP”,
an affiliate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.)
As a former Sr. Vice-President and executive team member
with one of the world’s most renowned coaching companies
for 20 years, Jim is proud of the difference that his leadership
has made to thousands of people globally. Jim has led well
over 250 Basic trainings in the past 14 years and continues
as in independent consultant with companies worldwide. Primarily,
Jim is contracted to lead trainings in Puerto Rico, Hong
Kong, Mexico, Shenzhen, and the United States. Jim was instrumental
in developing the leadership program that is
currently being used throughout the world. Since changing
careers in 1980, Jim has facilitated countless workshops
in over 16 centers in such locations as the United States,
Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico and Asia. Through Jim’s
leadership, guidance, and coaching of others, his new company
has grown to be a leader in transformational work throughout
the world. Jim is committed to his personal coaching business
that provides individuals and corporations with his expertise
as a breakthrough consultant, creating 21st century leadership
for many organizations.
Hobbies:
Jim has spent over 25 years coaching football and baseball
at the high school and youth sports level, most recently
at Miramonte High School. Jim is an avid senior softball
player and in 2004 his team finished number one in the world.
He was awarded the All American Selection by the Softball
Players Association. He was inducted into the senior softball
hall of fame in 2003.
History:
A native Californian, Jim was born in Monterey, California
on November 28, and has lived in the Golden State his entire
life. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Law Enforcement
and Psychology from San Jose State University in 1970 and
received his teaching credential from the same University
in 1972. Jim was a member of the San Jose California
Police Department of over 13 years and retired as a police
sergeant in 1980. He is currently divorced with four grown
children and three grandchildren.
Jim continues to pursue his love of coaching people through
their personal and business lives. He continues to design
and produce adult education workshops in personal effectiveness,
using an experiential or participatory learning model.
Jim truly believes the possibility of transformation lies
in liberating ourselves from conditioned behavior and beliefs,
and
empowering ourselves to truly make our own choices in alignment
with our heartfelt commitments.
Lynne Bomben
Lynne brings 21 years of adult education training and management to New ERA.
While at a U.S. based experiential training organization, Lynne worked primarily as a trainer and enrollment manager. She managed over 16 centers worldwide, directed their enrollment declarations and led the Leadership weekends.
Lynne has also worked as a National Trainer from 1992 to the present. Lynne provides valuable services worldwide to train and develop foreign staff to lead events and learn how to train Leadership weekends. She is considered an expert in this field and has over 25 years of experience in enrollment and sales.
Lynne formerly worked at ValueStar (now Diamond Certified) as Vice-President of National Sales for 4 years.
